Note: The CNN poll was conducted by SSRS from November 1-30 among a random national sample of 1,795 adults initially reached by mail. Surveys were either conducted online or by telephone with a live interviewer. Margins of sampling error: +/- 3.2 percentage points (Total); +/- 5.9 percentage points (Democrats); and +/- 5.7 percentage points (Republicans). Responses that did not indicate an opinion are not shown.
