Biden takes an early lead on executive action compared with past presidents
President Joe Biden has signed far more executive orders and memoranda than his predecessors had at the same point in their presidencies. Biden has relied on executive actions to overhaul the federal response to the coronavirus pandemic and to overturn some of former President Donald Trump's policies.
