More than half of Gaza’s school buildings have been directly hit or severely damaged
As many as 313 school buildings will need full or major reconstruction to be functional again – 142 of which have been used as shelters by displaced people since October 7, according to a satellite imagery analysis by the Education Cluster, an initiative co-led by UNICEF, the UN children’s agency, and Save the Children.
