As Israel-Hezbollah war rages, cross-border strikes and remote attacks escalate

Israel and Hezbollah have been exchanging fire across the Lebanon-Israel border since Oct. 8, 2023, with the majority of the attacks fired from Israel. Israel's strikes on Lebanon have surged in recent weeks.
