Dozens of Palestinians were killed near an aid site in southern Gaza on Sunday
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) initially denied firing at civilians near the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation aid site. The US-backed organization has been distributing aid since late May, but its efforts have been marred by chaos and violence. An Israeli military source acknowledged that IDF forces had opened fire toward suspects about 1 kilometer away from the site before it opened.
