US military blockade on Iranian ports takes effect

All of Iran's ports along the gulf are subject to a US blockade, with US Central Command saying the blockade will be enforced “against vessels of all nations entering or departing Iranian ports and coastal areas.” Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned that “no port in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman will be safe” if its own ports are threatened, according to Iranian state media.
