West Potomac Park is already host to several monuments

Sources familiar with planning for the garden say the administration has zeroed in on the park — which sits along the iconic Washington, DC, tidal basin and is home to at least five memorials, cherry blossom trees and softball fields — as the site for the Garden of Heroes.
