Where to see the total solar eclipse

On August 12, as the moon blocks the sun, a path of totality will sweep across a swath of the northern hemisphere, starting over the Arctic coastline around 1 p.m. ET, then crossing Greenland, Iceland and northern Spain.

Note: Times for Reykjavík and Valencia indicate when totality begins, in local time.
