Green Boots lies near the top of Mount Everest’s Northeast Ridge
The body of Indian climber Dorje Morup, known as Green Boots, has remained around 8,500 meters (27,887 feet) high on Everest’s northern route in Tibet, since he died in a powerful storm on May 11, 1996.
