Support for the AfD in Saxony-Anhalt has more than doubled in five years
Alternative for Germany (AfD) secured a historic margin of victory in the Saxony-Anhalt state elections, more than doubling their vote share. Germany's governing party, the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), suffered a huge loss.
